Information
The Parrot Behavioral Information Council, publisher of the
Companion Parrot Quarterly and other educational materials is
located in Loveland Colorado.
We are a small office of only 2 workers. Sally Blanchard is the editor and publisher. Melissa Meadows is Sally's assistant, and is available for behavioral consultations. We can usually be reached during business hours - 11am to 5pm Mountain Standard Time. Melissa, who usually answers the phone, is not here on Tuesday mornings, Saturdays and Sundays. Our office, which is in the Laughing Parrot Gallery and Avian Education Center, will be accessible to visitors starting in April or May. Please be sure to call us to make sure we are here before you come.

Because of our limited staff resources, you may often
receive voice mail when calling us. You may leave a detailed message and
always spell out your name and address if you are asking us to mail
something to you. Also, leave your email address (spelled out) because
it is often easier for us to email you with a response. Our voice mail
system is password protected, so you may leave orders with credit card
information if you feel comfortable doing so. Or, visit our

Educational Products
While we wish we did, we simply do not have the time to answer behavior
and care questions about parrots. To submit a question or comment about
the CPQ and/or your subscription, please use the form below. With the
exception of subscription questions, submitting this form does not
guarantee an answer. If we do not have time to provide a detailed
answer, we will try to refer you to a specific article or other source,
or a recommended behavioral consultant.

consult an avian, or bird knowledgeable veterinarian - we cannot give
