MACAWS
Many people mistakenly believe that macaws are the 'macho' birds of
the parrot family. This is simply not the case. If raised properly,
macaws can be one of the most gentle and loyal companions of all the
parrot family. Many macaws are weaned far too young and this can
result in behavioral insecurities which can diminish their pet
potential. Also listed are several articles that are not specifically
about macaws but have very good information which will help to
understand their behavior and development. See the
back issue form
for information about ordering.
